Interest
rates on Savings Bank Deposits will continue
at the existing rate of 3.75% p.a.
For
Senior citizen (i.e. 60 years of age &
above), the interest rates on Term Deposits
below Rs.15.00 lakhs will be @ 0.75% p.a. over
and above the rates as indicated above.
For
employees, retired staff members / spouses of
deceased staff members, they will be entitled
to additional interest @ 1.00% p.a.
over and above the
interest rates as mentioned above and
in addition to this , to pay additional rate
of interest @ 0.75% p.a. to retired staff
members/spouse of the deceased staff members
who will fall under the definition of senior
citizen (i.e. 60 years of age and above)
